For Prospective Students

While we try to read as many messages as possible, please understand that we may not be able to respond to every inquiry. Before reaching out, we kindly ask that you review the following information.

Lab Tours

If you are interested in seeing our lab as a prospective student, we recommend participating in Open Campus Days. We do not arrange individual lab tours by faculty members, but it may be possible to visit through informal interactions with current students.

Admissions

Master’s Program

• General Admission：
  • Applications are welcome. Please refer to the official websites of the university and the graduate school for details. Applicants who do not hold Japanese citizenship are requested to complete this form.
• Special Admission (for international / mature student admission):
  • We ask applying via the general admission process.

Doctoral Program

If you wish to work with me as your prospective advisor, please fill out the form. Depending on the entrance exam schedule, we will let you know whether you may proceed to the next step of the application process.

• Fall Examination: We will respond by late April.

• Spring Examination: We will respond by late November.

Postdoctral Positions

If you are interested in a postdoctoral position, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to work with me as your host researcher, please fill out the form.

Undergrad Research Students

We are currently not accepting new research students.
